STOCK PORTRAITS: The portraits are sculpted and modeled from numerous reference sources of the period. The sculpting in wax can take from 20 to 30 hours from beginning to completion. Then a mold is made of the finished piece and from this mold the duplicates are made and offered for sale. Even though modern materials are used, the process is the same as that used in the eighteenth and early nineteenth century. Each portrait is individually cast and framed, and is one-of-a-kind, since no two castings are identical.

Custom work is often the norm, so please email me with your requests. Occasionally an extra charge for this will apply. The portrait is usually shipped within four weeks. Expedited shipping is available for an extra charge.

Generally the Prices are as follows:

5X7 Oval ...$150, pair price...$280

6X8 Oval ....$165, two portraits in a 6X8 Oval ....$240

5X6 & 5X7 Rectangular....$165-$175, pair price.....$310 - $320

6X8 Rectangular .....Two portraits in the same frame....$240 - $260

Portraits can be placed on a Black, Prussian Blue or Spanish Brown background.

All sizes are approximate glass size. Outside frame dimensions vary.

Convex glass is no longer available.

Shipping....add $10 for one, $15 for two framed pieces.

All waxes are shipped insured.
